Is TRAZER reimbursable?
Yes, traditional CPT 97 codes are utilized by PT, OT, ST, MD, DC for Part B Outpatient reimbursement. Home Health, Hospital and Skilled Nursing bills Part A so TRAZER is bundled with reimbursement similar to Treadmill, Ultrasound or other exercise equipment or modality.
Can Technicians and Assistant Therapists operate TRAZER?
Based on your State licensure and practice guidelines, Technicians and Assistant Therapists can operate and direct Users on TRAZER. Many of our assessments and rehabilitation protocols are graded and standardized allowing ease of visit over visit consistent applications.
How does insurance cover rehabilitation?
Based on your payor negotiated contracts for reimbursement, payors will reimburse traditional CPT 97 codes. Therapists have reported an increase in net revenue per visit of $15-25 when utilizing skilled therapy codes. Therapists have received reimbursement from Federal payors (Medicare, Medicaid, VA), Commercial payors (Humana, Aetna, UHC, Anthem, Cigna), Workers’ Comp and Medicare advantage plans.

Can you adjust the footprint based on the size of the non-dedicated space?
There are several drills that allow custom sizing under Settings. As a global answer, no, TRAZER cannot be adjusted to meet all space demands today.
Are sensors needed on the body to track data and movement?
No sensors needed! TRAZER's high-powered optical camera tracks up to 25 points on the body.
Can assistive devices be used with TRAZER?
Yes! Some examples of assistive devices include wheelchair, walker, crutches, cane, and gait belt, etc.
Can I use accessories in conjunction with the technology?
We recommend using accessories such as resistance bands, dumbbells, medicine balls etc. with workouts and drills, but when using TRAZER for standardized assessments, we discourage the use of accessories.
What do I need to get started?
Getting started is simple. All you need is WiFi and a TV in a 10ftx12ft non-dedicated space. Use an HDMI cable to connect to your TV and power on.
How do I install?
TRAZER can be installed by mounting on the wall or attached to a portable rolling stand.
