Dr. Eric DeYoung Brings Clinical and Management Experience to TRAZER
CLEVELAND, OH, AUG 11, 2020 — TRAZER, a neuromechanical technology company, is pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Eric DeYoung to its executive team. Dr. DeYoung brings 30 years of healthcare experience working in diverse areas of practice ownership, leadership and operations.

Dr. DeYoung attended Bellarmine University and the University of Kentucky completing pre-medical course work and then transitioned his academic career earning his Bachelor’s Degree degree in Occupational Therapy graduating from Shawnee State University in 1997. Since that time he has worked in long term care, a Level I trauma center specializing in hand therapy and burns, both acute and long term care hospitals, industrial rehabilitation, outpatient and private practice.
In addition to his extensive clinical background; Dr. DeYoung has taught in several occupational therapy programs, lectured nationally in front of 1000’s of healthcare professionals and industry leaders, and has spent the majority of his career representing several Boards including being the President of the Kentucky Occupational Therapy Association; Chairman of the Board for Kentucky Stop the Bleed, Board member for the YMCA, and an advisory member of several non-profit boards.
Dr. DeYoung’s career background extends into Natural Health and Wellness earning his Doctorate in Traditional Naturopathy in 2009 with integrative training in Western and Eastern medicine disciplines. He has worked both clinically and operationally with several of the country’s largest healthcare companies including; Health South, Kindred, Select Medical, Physiotherapy Associates, Aegis Therapies, MOTION PT Group, including operating his own private practice and is now the President and Chief Operating Officer For TRAZER.
Community and family are very important to Dr. DeYoung. Outside of his healthcare career he is a first responder and Sgt. for his local Sheriff’s Office. He has additional training as a Hazmat technician and CBRNE technician through FEMA and LSU NCBRT and supports a specialty Hazardous Response team. When not at work he enjoys spending time with his family traveling and attending Taekwondo events where his wife and daughter are both national champions.
