MARSHALL UNIVERSITY UTILIZING TRAZER® IN KEY RESEARCH
TRAZER technology to be utilized in orthopedic, musculoskeletal, and clinical research initiatives led by industry leaders Timothy Hewett, Ph.D. and Dr. Chad Lavender.
CLEVELAND, OHIO, October 26, 2023 – As an innovative leader in technology designed for rehabilitation, strengthening and enhancing athletic performance, Trazer is pleased to announce a collaboration with Marshall University and Dr. Timothy Hewett. In addition to working with Dr. Hewett, the company will have the opportunity to be included in work by Dr. Chad Lavender in his groundbreaking fertilized ACL technique. Dr. Hewett, a Professor and Director of Research in the Marshall University Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the School of Medicine, a long-time TRAZER advocate, is using the system in his work to improve/measure key protocols and tools for post-surgery rehabilitation of elite athletes. Dr. Hewett has held multiple leadership positions and has published hundreds of articles in peer-reviewed journals and is considered one of the world’s leading authorities in the field of injury prevention and rehabilitation, including anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) injuries.
